Shape Urban undertook an extensive community engagement process utilising multiple communication platforms to inform a major review of the City’s Strategic Community Plan. The result was a suite of recommendations for the new Strategic Community Plan that represented the community’s changing social, economic and environmental values. This gave the City the ability to develop a plan that represented the community’s priorities and allowed it to allocate resources and time in line with those priorities.  

The project demonstrates how Shape Urban can deliver projects with a high level of quality community engagement, presenting information in an easy–to–understand way and legitimately introducing stakeholders at different stages of engagement and representing their views.
